The "Dancing Horse" shows take place in the 1600 seat arena. After a dramatic introduction, the beautiful music of flamenco guitar fills the air and some ten riders dressed in 18th century traditional costume make their entrance. Then the impressive "equestrian ballet" begins.

These acclaimed Andalusian and Lipizzaner horses are the aristocrats of the Equestrian world, with tradition dating back to the 16th century! The oldest and purest European breed, they have stunned audiences with their demonstration of strength, precision and balletic poise.

Senór Alvarez's horses perform a series of classical movements choreographed to music. They work solo and as a group with some of their movements only executed by one or two such horses in the world.

Even the most experienced trainer and rider cannot fail to be impressed by the movements, control and obvious rapport between Senór Alvarez and these magnificent horses.

Fernando Alvarez was born in Jerez De La Frontera, Spain, in the heart and home of the Spanish Andalusian horse, where he trained and performed at the famous Royal School for Equestrian Art. Following in his father's, grandfather's and great-grandfather's footsteps, Senór Alvarez has attained the title of Riding Master (of which there are only six in the world), a title that can take up to 40 years to attain.
